Ellen's Glen Woodland

I have a huge soft spot for this woodland in the centre of Edinburgh, just off The Gilmerton Road. The Braid Burn runs through it, and it has a good biodiversity, including many Wych Elms. I marvel at the delicate beauty of the Wych Elm, at their elegant branches and gentle buds.
I visit this spot often with my class for nature play sessions.
