brooding

place of meetings and networking and intrigue and subterfuge and general politiking, and occasional haunt of a pal of mine. today was all announcements and meetings, but since one of those was changed and the first of the others cancelled, there was time for an early coffee, which was very nice. had fun catching up with things - if only every day started like that (indeed, every day and twice on sundays would be good was the consensus). it was all a bit elbow really - but one day a week would be better...

could be true - sounds true. but i know one part isn't true, so i wonder about the rest. why not just say?
