Day TwentyTwo - Hands
Cardiff rain is unique in being able to detect an umbrella, manoeuvre itself to the individual underneath it whilst simultaneously calling on the power of Welsh wind to turn said umbrella inside-out and blow the unsuspecting user's hood down.
The effect that this has had on my hair makes me very glad that the faceless self portrait was yesterday's challenge...
This evening Lydia, Lucy and I made our weekly pilgrimage to Lidl to buy food for our Wednesday movie night. We watched Miss Congeniality, and I think my favourite part was looking over and seeing my two best friends belting out the 'Miss America' song with the cheesiest grins on their faces.
Do you ever get those weird sentimental moments where it feels like there's a bubble of affection stuck somewhere in your ribcage? I had one of those. A little "I can't believe how much I love these two loons" moment.
So in spite of the weather, it's been a good day.
