Surprise ? Again

I was sitting in the living room talking to my husband when all of a sudden I saw this flash go past the window. I jumped up and new exactly what it was. There sitting in a small tree at the edge of the yard was a hawk. This hawk has been hanging around our woods for a couple of weeks now. I love birds of prey and am so happy that he/she has decided to hang out here. I quickly grabbed my camera switching to my bigger lens and ran out the house. I kept snapping as I walked closer, watching me the entire time he finally decided I was close enough and turned on the branch and flew back into the woods but still in eye shot. This completely made my day.
