Going Dutch

The Blip today shows the Dutch Mill pub in Queen's Road. I have been invited to go there tomorrow evening, but I am unable to go due to another appointment.

The white streak at the bottom of the photograph is a car going past. This is yet another in my series of evening shots of pubs and restaurants around Aberdeen.

I don't know the reason for the name of the pub, there is nothing obviously Dutch about it. I am sure there is a good historical reason for the name. This is a very popular pub which tends to get very busy. It also has a busy restaurant serving good quality pub food.

Yes it can be gathered I have been known to go there from time to time!
