Full On Photography Day!!

What a day! To coin a phrase " eat, breath and sleep" for a subject - then my topic today has been photography to the core!

A fantastic day talking about a dear subject to my heart and something that I get paid to do?! Can't ask for any better.

So today I was at the studio in Windsor teaching there all day. The group was great, all very keen. It was an overcast morning and the minute we planned to go out, the heavens opened! Not great. But, we persevered and still went out for our two hour walk. One of the guys went home to get his dog - pictured - Iza - a black lab who was very well behaved. And a perfect little model who loved the attention! I really like this image for the angle and the contrast. I had to shoot wide as my 50mm prime is gone to the photo lab in the sky - *sob* - but think the effect with the wide angle has worked to my advantage. The rain eased off a bit and became for a nice afternoon, albeit being already soaked through. Got a round of applause at the studio - how nice!!??!! Quick chat with the studio owner and then came home.

Whirlwind when I came home to get back out for job number 2!

Back at Bracknell and Wokingham College tonight - college course 1 of 3 this week. Tonight I was in the Church Road campus which is the super sexy brand new building. It is in stark contrast to the other building I will be in tomorrow for college! Not taught at Church Road since December as been at other campus, so it was nice to see familiar faces again. Really feel at home there.

First class was SLR foundation. A full class tonight which is normal for the get to grips with ... courses, they are so popular. I was really pleased with everyone that was in my class as everyone was really friendly and a very relaxed atmosphere for first evening. Im really looking forward to progressing with the class and seeing some fantastic imagery come through! Some very funny relationships already - one lady that is booked on to a course with the Windsor studio that I will be teaching(!), one gent that works at Heathrow and going to try to do a shoot there(!) and another special lady that is a keen blipper and now following me(!!!)

It is such a small world! :)
