When was it....

... that my baths stopped being this fun??

No.2 son spent a lot of time dipping alternate ears in the water and appeared delighted with the results.

No.1 son was a smasher in his swimming class and has been promoted to the *drum roll please* orange hats (I knew you'd be impressed!). Although it's hard to demonstrate how pleased and proud of him I am when all the other kids in the changing room haven't moved up :-( I've already learnt that I can't yet expect tact from him, it was only last week that we heard one mum say to her son, 'Well done, you did really well today' and no.1 monster wrinkles his nose and says, admittedly just to me (albeit LOUDLY), 'He didn't Mummy, did you see him?? He didn't do well AT ALL.' Sometimes it feels as though I spend a disproportionate amount of my time wishing the ground would swallow me up.

Anyway, well done no.1 :-)
