Pacifying my weekend-with-pointy-hills withdrawal symptoms with a blip of Cambourne Church.

The church building reflects Cambourne quite well - new, innovative, ... and unfinished.

(I was sorely tempted with a side view showing the piles of rubble and the bare-breeze-block wall to the right hand side.)

The '19' signs are a bit of a Cambourne in-joke. When first built, the apparent speed limit on entry to Cambourne was '19' - not the more conventional 20. The story was that this was supposed to be more effective as it would catch the driver's attention. Not remotely enforceable of course, but it did amuse the local newspapers for a while. Interesting to see the signs have a new life as the name of the Coffee House.
