Rain, rain go away!

I went to see our new school this afternoon. Two First schools are merging together and becoming one big primary school. Its still a bit of a building site at the moment, but I got a really good feel for the new building with lots of classrooms and CORRIDORS!

It may sound strange but our current school doesn't have any corridors - it only has 3 classrooms! So it is a bit of a heart wrenching time for us all to go from a very small school with 90 children to a large school with what will eventually be a 420 pupil school. We did have a long fight to keep our small school open but sadly we lost our fight and although we were initially very much against the move, we have gradually come to terms with it. I was pleased when I left the building site today it all of a sudden felt very real and quite exciting!
