Willow.
Back out on the moors with a bunch of youngsters.
Despite the grey, damp weather we managed to plant about 30 metres of hedgerow with various species at the rate of 5-6 plants per metre. Not bad for just 8 youngsters in 2 hours.
This is a piece of Willow. Apparently it will grow almost anywhere by just pushing a bit of 'willow stick' into the ground and is fond of very damp soil.
