Who'd Have Thought

Here we are at our anniversary meal, well here's Clare anyway. Who'd have thought that after twenty years, fifteen married, we'd be sharing G&T's and a couple of bottles of Rose in Events Square, Falmouth with two children.

Well you might have believed the alcohol part but that's about all. What started out as a slightly inebriated NCO chatting up an equally inebriated but stunningly attractive young blonde WREN working as a waitress at a Mess Dinner turned into something wonderful.

I consider myself blessed, four wonderful children, a son and a daughter-in-law whom I love as though they are my own, three adorable grandchildren and Clare. I have a family of four siblings and their wives/husbands/partners and fourteen nieces and nephews.

I miss my Mum and Dad and Hanna too but on the whole I am content.
