Northern and proud

I read an article about what's so great about the north of england today (here) couldn't help but read it with pride.

My favourite quote though was the random...
On the bus I sat behind a teenage girl and her boyfriend. Each time the bus passed a blue car the girl murmured, "Blue!" and whacked her boyfriend on the back of his head with a newspaper.

After a while we passed a bus depot. "Now let's play 'bus'," the girl said. "Bus!" Whack. "Bus!" Whack. "Bus!" Whack.

What a great game!
