Bailout

Well, after long negotiations, blunt ultimatums and near rioting in the streets, the dailykeith bailout has finally been agreed and paid.

It was a relief to check the bank balance and discover that my former employers had finally learned:

1: How to read (in this case redundancy settlement agreements that stated clearly how much money should be paid)

2: How to add up (despite aforesaid agreement, they had been incapable of paying the full amount stated and had left me several hundred quid short. Today's payment made up the difference.).

Anyway, that's battle number one at an end.

It just leaves two other battles... but they can wait for another day. Hey! Let's celebrate where we've got so far with beans on toast and strawberry-flavoured milk. That's my kind of lunch treat.
