"A camera to be reckoned with"

That's the G9, according to the Canon website.

Following on from Joe's blip today, my G9 powered up today with a new feature - "in picture hair" - can you spot it?! (unaltered / uncropped image for maximum hairiness)

Given that it hadn't been taken out of it's pouch since a pristine image taken yesterday this is quite an achievement.

Second G9 in 6 months, second to suffer from dust. This is without the scratch issue affecting me - yet.

Just off to ring the helpdesk for a prepaid label also...
