Seasonal
Poinsettias are seasonal; yes they are. Usually they arrive during the Christmas holiday. . . every where, every color and every shape.
Here at Funville poinettias really don't care what season it is. They will be seasonal in which ever season they feel like. So as I stroll through the back yard, I just tell them that it's okay and that they are welcome whenever they arrive. I am inviting them and hoping they stay until Easter. These are planted in a large planter on the water fountain side of the yard. Flowers are welcome anytime in my yard.
Today was the grand finale of the email marathon I've been doing with my three new classes of students -- two classes on Tuesday mornings and one class on Thursday mornings. I've corraled all their email addresses and grouped them into three lists. I'm always dumbfounded at how much work this is . . . it sounds really simple. So each class has now received my Week 1 Email Letter. It contains lots of info and reminders and because it is not written in text messaging it is a true challenge for them to read.
This has been a lovely Monday.
Good night from Southern California.
