Good day so far

I have had an excellent day so far and it has yet to start in earnest. It started with a very funny voicemail about calc-u-keets and girls with sticks that made me laugh out loud. On my walk I saw a few things that made me smile. This sign being the only one I photographed. A big burly man in a big burly dump truck drove by me with a song from the musical Annie blaring. I saw a woman and young boy picking breakfast from their garden and exchanged pleasantries. I also noticed something very black under a bench in some ones yard, and as I studied it, just as I realized it was a cat, one tiny slit of an eye opened and it was the most stunning shade of emerald! I have most of my to do list done and even squeezed in a little Olympic watching. I am meeting the husband for lunch, then off to work! I can not wait to see what the rest of my day brings!
