Lens Surgery

I was driving to work the other day, still fuming about my broken lens. I was planning on taking it to a camera shop to see if they could do anything about it. Then...lightbulb! 'Are you a mechanical engineer or not!' I grew up taking stuff apart to fix it (not break it, as the case may be). Why should this be any different.

I made it all the way down to the last pieces, the broken pieces. Then I got stuck. I can't find any info on the interwebs, and I can't see how they are held together - or if they should just come apart and the fact that they are broken is holding them together.
