Duchess

This is Alana's pillow, or one of them. It's the head of Duchess (I had to look that up) from the Aristocats. I asked Alana when she got it and she told me Louis got it for her when he was born. Maybe she means it was a present from Louis to her.

It's been a bit warm today in the office. It could be because the weather is warmer, or maybe because the heating came on, or maybe because there are now too many people and computers in the room generating heat. It's probably a combination of all those things. You forget how hot and stuffy summer can be.

I forgot it was pancake day! The kids didn't miss out though. Grandma made them and Alana had more at Guides. I still plan on having some at the weekend though. I like pancakes with raspberry jam and sugar, just like when I was little. I am partial to a sugar and lemon juice one though!

Edit: I've just learnt or been reminded of the fact that Alana calls this cat Serephina after a Barbie cat which bears a striking resemblance to the Disney one. Alana's Barbie phase went a long time ago!
