The little yellow cinquecento has gone.
It was part of the family for 4 years.
It went kaput a few weeks back. Sadly, Corin decided that it had to go. So it was collected this evening and has gone to be dismantled for parts.
I never get attached to my cars. However, both of the cars that Corin has had in the last 6 years, I have become very attached too for their quirkiness and I confess that I am a little sad to see the Yellow Peril go.
Busy day today, with the bonus of having seen Michelle and baby Millie, and getting two lots of cuddle time. Cheered me up somewhat.
Interesting conversations which will lead to some interesting times for me, I think.
Also, carried forth stage 1 of Operation Kick and Scream. Pain diary printed, covering letter written, which clearly and strongly states my point of view - gone in post tonight to Doctor as chance of getting there this week is non existant and also I want to note my concerns in writing in case I get no joy - I want a record that I have raised them, again. Will make an appointment for next week and I will take advice of friends and start making a fuss. I worked out today that it's actually closer to 18 months since this all started and the rapid deterioration in the past 3 months does not bode well.
So despite feeling lousy, I am determined to see some progress.
So for Lent, I am giving up being meek, submissive and not standing up for myself with the medics, and instead I am going to adopt my normal modus operandi of being a stroppy cow!
Thanks for support...I appreciate it all even though my comments and replies to you all are as rare as rocking horse s**t!
