Pancakes

Took H to visit my parents for lunch and we stayed for a couple of hours. My dad had just returned from a weekend away and H asked him "Did you have a nice time at the beach Papa?" as she thinks he has spent the weekend building sandcastles.

After a long nap in the afternoon, we made pancakes which H had been looking forward to for a few days! She had hers with Nutella chocolate spread, and I had mine with lemon and sugar. It's the first time she has had Nutella, and by the time we made the pancakes, I had already eaten half the jar! That's why I never buy it - it's very yummy and moreish!! The only mishap was when H cracked one egg half onto the floor (although I managed to catch most of it) and when I went to melt the butter in the microwave and it started sparking.....shopping for a new one tomorrow I think!!

H also asked if she could go in the shower today and stood under it for a few minutes which is something new. Usually she doesn't want to go near it.
