Handle.
Really hitting the bottom of the barrel when you start photographing door handles - particularly door handles that are detested. However, that's all for tonight folks...
Partly because the last couple of days have been a bit hectic. The dog wasn't so great over the weekend. Monday morning and we decided that he had to go and see the vet. Phone call first thing got us an emergency appointment before we went into work.
All a bit scary given that his sister dies a few months ago - and given the sickness, poor colour and muscular weakness he was displaying. He was flat too and we really thought he had gone when we went to waken him in the morning. However, a drip and a couple of tests and he's home again bouncing round like a spring chicken.
Wish I could say the same about me. Blood pressure clinic today. While there was nothing unexpected discovered, the full MOT does leave you feeling a bit like an old car. You need an oil change, new brake lights, spark plugs and maybe even some tyres.
Of course the white coat effect may be having something to do with the way I feel tonight. The monitor that I had been wearing for 24 hours showed quite significant peaks when ever I went near someone wearing one. Upside is that most of my readings taken by docs are too high - downside is that to get accurate readings I have to wear that bloomin' monitor again. Grrr.
Don't think I can get a handle on this growing old thing. My head is still at 21.
