flipping fantastic
Well today is Shrove Tuesday, better known as Pancake Day and here is Oliver sampling my pancakes, homemade and flipped by me! We had them with Nutella and even though I am on a diet, I had to have one (or three!) Amber said it was her best pudding EVER so theres a complement for you?
This morning, Oliver had his final appointment at Yorkhill Children's Hospital for his finger injury ( I jammed it in a door in November, it nearly fell off and he had to have surgery)Anyway, they have discharged him :-) They said that the nail is a bit small and that it probably will always be on the small side but seeing as he nearly lost the tip of his finger (his wedding ring finger no less :-S) I am delighted with the outcome and the talent of the plastic surgery team. So we are all delighted and wee Oliver says his finger is better now! Before we went to the hospital, we nipped into the HUGE Sainsburys nearby and I bought the boys some swimsuits for our holidays, there was 25%off so it would have been rude not too!
Oliver stayed with Grandma after the hospital and on her way back to bringing him home, Oliver opened the car door whilst she was driving, needless to say she has agreed now that the child lock must be on! All were ok thankfully and she managed to stop safely and close the door.
Ooooo, booked tickets for us all to see Fireman Sam on Easter Monday too, Oliver will be beside himself! Also found out the wee boy we met when Oliver had his operation is going soon so that is even better, this wee boy introduced Oliver to Fireman Sam so that make it even nicer!
Anyway, a long one tonight, Im off to watch the BRITS xx
