Pancake

Today it's Noah's turn to be the star of the blip with his excellent tossing skills! My gran always made thin crepe type pancakes on shrove Tuesday and being one for tradition, and a lover of crepes, the children and I have continued to do this every year.

It was a tiring day today as the Care Inspectorate appeared at the nursery at 9.30 for an unannounced inspection, all was well though and we have been graded to a high standard including our forest school approach which just started this week. We can now proceed with confidence knowing that we are satisfying all the necessary requirements and that we have sound systems and robust procedures that can withstand being put on the spot. The staff excelled at sharing their knowledge, the parents were extremely positive in their comments to the inspectors and the children, as always, were extremely enthusiastic and capable in sharing their love of learning. I couldn't ask for any more.
