By My Own Fair Hand (2) : Emergency Blip!
I'd forgotten that I needed to go out during today's lunch-break, so ideas of a hunt in Bracondale wood had to be abandoned.
Had to stop for some shopping en route home, and I've defrosted some of the sloes I picked after Christmas, so am going to be busy after dinner tonight, sloe-pricking and making up some sloe vodka (hehehe).
Dinner's cooking, so I decided I'd better sort a blip pretty quickly.
Once in the distant past I used to make quite a few things for myself and friends from suede and chamois leather - 'fabric's I always enjoyed working with.
This is the suede handbag I made myself - it's about 30 years old now, so a few of the tassels have suffered in use (and I've used it quite a lot).
Dinner's ready, better get dishing up ..........
