Shrove Tuesday

I love pancakes any time, so Pancake Day is the best reason to pig out! Sous-chef Jake had a training seminar on cooking them but due to having a rubbish frying pan, we decided to not attempt to toss them.
I am not so keen on savoury ones (except when in Brittany when I adore the buck wheat galettes with spinach and bacon, yum), so I am happy with sugar and lemon, or for some high quality cuisine, nutella and pears or bananas. Well it's one of the 5 a day, isn't it?
