On Call

On call tonight, got oxygen, a pulse oximeter, and a defibrillator.
Of all the millions of ailments that result in an ambulance call-out I can help with cardiac arrests and breathing difficulties.
For all else I appear in a yellow jacket with a big bag, put them on oxygen and pat their hand until the real medics arrive.
Just hope it doesn't ring at half three tomorrow morning!
