Sensory Underload

This is in the grounds of Australian Hearing Laboratories, where I have been going with Zoe who has had hearing difficulties (and a number of operations) since she was little.

The building is a little tired, but rather magnificent, with sweeping views, beautifully framed of the bushland adjacent. Internally the architecture is also interesting, - I think - a feast for the eyes. Here is a shot I took a couple of weeks ago.

And in the grounds there is a natural creek, which runs down to the Lane Cove River, complete with waterfalls, the sound of which echoes around the modern concrete walls.

I'd like to think that, after some visits here, their clients will enjoy not just the visual beauty, but the way the creek laughs all the way to the river.
