Sauerkraut
Another Monday morning; another 5 pounds of cabbage chopped, salted, pounded in my trusty crock pot, covered with a plate, weighted with a garden rock, and ready to turn into our personal supply of very happy, lively, and delicious probiotics.
Even Little Man is a convert. He demands his little bit every day now. Ha!
Why does the knife have a pinkish hue? Because I forgot to switch the light setting on my camera from tungsten to daylight. Arrrrgh.
