Six years ago today I was in the middle of laboring, preparing to become a mother for the first time. Shortly after 10pm our beautiful strawberry blonde baby with "Angelina Jolie lips" (as one midwife exclaimed) was born into the water in our home. It was Presidents Day just like today, and the weather was cool and rainy, also like today. Happy Birthday sweet, spicy, lovely Miss A.
