Tate Chimney

I stopped by the Tate between meetings this afternoon and took today's Blip.

Working in construction the structure of the Tate is naturally of interest, like most of London's buildings!

Whilst I specialise in structural steelwork, it is the brickwork that always seems to catch my eye when visiting the Tate (aside from all the artwork of course!).

In particular, the brickwork on the outside of the building is somewhat mesmerising in its uniformity. You may need to view large to see the detail should you wish!
