Peninsula Light

By PeninsulaLight

A portion of the Kessock Bridge lit my the evening sun. A grab shot, taken out the window from work. Was packing up to head off, when I noticed the high contrast of the lighting to the bridge, against the shaded background. Suspect I've taken about a Blip a week of the bridge (or parts of it) so far this year.

Thick misty rain over Inverness on the way home. After the weekend's ice and snow, it meant that all the salt and grit was being washed off the roads. A small stream like flow comes off the bridge, and whilst cycling beside the road's ramp up to the bridge, a bus came by and sent a thick shower of the brown water over me. One second all nice and clean from my shower at the swimming pool. Next second filthy from head to toe, and in need of a good wash. A few miles later and the roads were bone dry.

Perhaps I'd have made it home cleaner, if I hadn't gone to the aid of lass whose little Labrador was being repeatedly sexually attacked by a stray mongrel. He was a darned aggressive little brute too.

Thanks for all the nice comments on yesterday's Blip!
