Farewell Lynne and Ivor.....

We headed to the airport with Lynne and Ivor this morning....and it was with a sad heart that we hugged them and said goodbye....it's been a wonderful 4 days having them here! We managed to hit some of the high points of Cape Breton: the ocean, Rollies and fiddling, quiet country birding, reading, cooking and sitting by the fire with coffees chatting! But when i asked Ivor what his favorite part was.....Terry's plow truck trips!!!! He accompanied Terry a couple of times during the massive snow falls, and love it!!!! Next time i'd say he gets to actually drive the plow truck!!! We were essential snow bound for 2 days, but it didn't seem to bother them one bit....like most city folks, they just cherished the peace and quiet of Big Hill!

And it is also a forewell to my amaryllis...it's all but gone....this last flower is fading fast.....

Oh and we finally booked our trip south!!! Cuba here we come! end of March beginning of april, we head to Havana and then we'll tour around a bit, leaving lots of time to do some exploring! Can't wait!!!
