Scary dude

I mean what is he about to do??? Braver man than most I know.
This guy guards one side of Eltham Palace- a fab place to visit with a severe (and at times intimidating) exterior but with a wonderful 1930s art deco interior.
It was designed with all the mod cons of the 1930s - underfloor heating, phones, lots of bathrooms, enough hot water for multiple baths, built in furniture, sound system, a ring-tailed lemur etc etc. This was the super rich - and today - only 80 years later - many of us can afford most of these things. Amazing.

Except the lemur - that is now forbidden :(
