the wall

8:30am, playing with the weeWeir. She's made a wall. A tent wall (!), as she describes it.

Here, a selection of toys form a barrier at the edge of her already-high-off-the-ground cabin-style bed.

Walls are handy, but can be problematic when trying to live in relationship and community.

I think we're trying to resist the temptation to build walls around our hearts and remain connected even through the storms of life.

Playing with the weeWeir is always good for that.
