Willow tits

Headed home today. Dave was feeling better but it was raining heavily so he missed the sunshine of yesterday. We were driving and saw the sign for RSPB Ken Dee Marshes, so turned in. At the first hide were red kites, Canada Geese, teal, lapwings, Jack Snipe, and the usual members of the tit family - great, blue and coal.

We then went to the next hide and saw a red squirrel on the feeder. But I was absolutely delighted to see 2 first ever sightings - willow tit and nuthatch. The latter have only recently ventured into Scotland. I have blipped the willow tits and will try this evening to put the red squirrel and the nuthatch on my blipfolio. The nuthatch unfortunately is out of focus.
