Vegas Hope

I was trying to capture an iconic Las Vegas image all day today as we walked the strip, but it turned out that a simple shot was my favorite. The tile and light caused a cross to form in a water feature in one of the many casinos through which we walked. I thought that symbol of hope combined with the coins of currency communicated exactly what this town is all about. Actually, I was pretty impressed that anyone had any spare change to toss in the water. I thought all extra coins were consumed by the ever-present slot machines.
