The Eden Valley
This was taken from part of the way up the Hartside Pass on my way to Penrith and then onto Dumfries, selling and buying on Ebay adventure. I have now sold my under used extremely expensive road bike and bought a Hybrid for my youngest son to go to work on and to complete his iron man challenge, actually both of us are doing it, a 2 mile swim, 112 miles on the bike followed by a 26 mile walk ( he doesn't run and I'm crocked). This is in aid of a charity he is going to be doing some work for in Malaysia in the summer, he has to raise the best part of £1800 to go. When I went on school trips it was to the Lake District where we got piss wet through for a week.
This image is made up of 15 photographs, 3 x 5 HDR.
It's not the best as it was bloody cold and I probably hurried the shots but it gives an impression of what it was like. The hills ( or Fells) in the background are those of the Northern Lake District, I can make out a hill called Blencathra and Clough head.
I'm now on the hunt for that lens .
Click on the magnifying glass to see the bigger image, it looks a bit better.
