Birthday treat

It was supposed to be my friend's birthday surprise, but thanks to the relevant airlines it became mine too: my friend whom I haven't seen for ages was taken to Budapest for a long weekend by her husband and they've arrived today. :-))

Well, it was a bit of an adventure as due to the snow they've arrived to Vienna and were shipped here by bus. On the end we did manage to absolve the dinner (though had to miss a course - surprise-surprise ;) it was the main not the dessert) and managed to get to the Opera on time. To our luck it was The Marriage of Figaro and not some Wagner, what the Opera loves to play this darkest and coldest part of the year.
