Cliffs Along The Coast
This photograph covers a base for blipping purposes: it gives a sample of the prestigious but super-familiar scenery that one sees here every day, but we would not normally focus on because we leave it for visitors to think about. I cherish it now especially because it's been two years since I've come to Ceridwen's place.
This is the view looking East from a point along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, about a mile from the house. The headland farthest away is called Dinas Head, and closer in are a string of rocks called Cerrig Duon and under me is the sea leading into Aber Bach, a beach where we had been gathering limpets to eat. Being a bright, clear winter day, the sky, the rocks, and the Irish Sea are wearing their best colors. At some points the cliffs loom 575 feet above the water.
This is a beautiful place to which I am always glad to return.
