Robin Revisited
Thank you very much for your kind comments for yesterday :-) You all got it right: it was a robing trying to get away from being blipped. As always, I'm amazed and awed by how everything in nature simly fits.
I went to the same corner of the park as yesterday to make sure I get the same bird. Robins look very cute and kind (those eyes!), but they're really territorial. A teacher at university told me the following story: He had parked his car on a parking lot and when he returned, he heard this strange picking noise. So he looked around to find out what it was and noticed a robing attacking his car! The bird had spotted his own reflection on the hubcap and was now pecking at the alleged intruder. The professor had to chase him away. Poor robin!
Have a wonderful weekend :-)
