Looking back

As the forecast was for rain today, last night, thought ahead of what to blip.

Decided to look out some records from way back, it is quite frightening to think how many years it is since the records were bought.

Was not a Beatles fan, it was the Searchers for me and the first record I bought was Acker Bilk and "Stranger on the Shore", still enjoy it when it is played on the radio.

Did go and see the Searchers in the Town Hall in Paisley and if I remember correctly it was the day before Kennedy was shot, have also been to a Nana Mouskouri concert in Glasgow. Think the very first one I was at was to see Cliff Richard at the Empire in Glasgow
