New Construction in the Neighborhood

This is one of at least a dozen trees down along the path between the pond and Hardwood Creek. Looks to me like we have a new development going in. I wonder how long it will be before the folks who have already built here get upset that the developer is taking down mature trees to build his new home.

Isn't that always the way. You can take the trees down for my house, but not for yours. I'll admit, I did have a moment's pause when I saw that the beautiful willow by the pond is almost half gnawed through. Even thought, "trap".

It was beautiful day and my earlier evening walk was a perfect end to a day spent doing just what I wanted to.
