A Plumbers Wife!

Ivan and Moj

After a shocking night's sleep due to the slow puncture in the air bed, which resulted in me sleeping on the sofa, with a sheet, for a couple of hours and leaving Corin to lie on the slowly deflating bed with the duvet (am a good wife), I woke up to a glorious sunrise and lovely warmth from the sun which made it easier to get up.

Quick brew, made sure I had my gear and then Chris and I navigated London transport to get to Waterloo to meet up with Ivan and Moj for a photoshoot. Lights were set up, 500 shots rattled off, moments of silliness and quite possibly the best "first words" I have ever heard from someone. Having not met either of the boys before, when Moj arrived, he was concerned that he didn't have his suit trousers because "they have a drunken piss stain down them".

Hi, I'm Sarah, how do you do?!!! Broke the ice, which was good.

Ivan Madeira (top left, top right) is a film maker from London. Having just finished his third short film Underwear starringMoj Taylor (in the photos with Ivan, bottom left and right) and Genna Foden. The film is about the consequence of what happens when you try to pursue your dream. In this case, the fall out of a relationship.

Working on his debut feature film THE KICK INSIDE , this takes the themes of loss of identity and explores it further by the pursuit of happiness by trying to find ones identity. The lead character Francis, (Moj), goes back to the Philippines to where his mum his mum is from, to try and find this out. Currently the script is being finalised before moving to the next stage of securing funding.

We were back by 1, packed and in the car by 2 and on our way home. Got back at around 7.30, still revelling in the victory for LFC this afternoon - James' first experience of listening to a match on the radio.

Then the realisation that the homework he thought he had done, hadn't been done properly and it was an assessment piece. 90 minutes later, he had done it properly!

It's been a fabulous weekend - always love going to see Chris and Faye. It will be nice to sleep in my own bed thought.

NB - the images are not processed well - I did a quick batch of them just to get a feel for them before I start processing properly - really wanted to check that I had some images that were worth working with.

Work tomorrow, real work, not the photography work, which I don't see as work. I finally accepted this weekend that for all my bluff and bluster, I don't think I will be able to separate myself from teaching, because for all of the downs, there are far more ups.
