Everyday I Write The Book

The Man in Black

Went to church tonight. Took photographs of the last service of the departing vicar. Very strong and happy community feel to it, and the church (which dates from the 12th Century) was beautifully lit.

The organist was no cardboard cutout, despite this silhouetted blip. He played, and led the choir, with great force and passion.

My day was however a little flat and I am afraid my black dog dragged TSM along with it, for which I am truly sorry. We look after each other but I wish I could avoid the things that are making me unhappy impacting on her.

Tired now and back to work tomorrow. Plus the Dizzle has an interview for a new theatre school at five. Pancake day on Tuesday. TSM has a hospital appointment on Wednesday. Life, as the great Russian Playwright Chekhov once said, is just one damned thing after another...But all of these have a positive side to them potentially so lets just get on with the week and see what happens ...
