The good out of bad.

Today the sky was shining, it was almost warm and the birds were singing; everything you'd expect in a lovely walk.

Until it snowed that is.

Now I am not great at having my plans thwarted. I get grumpy. And I made plans for this beautiful walk, so I ploughed on. During my snowy walk I started to think.

Someone I greatly admire faced the worst ordeal that most people ever have to experience; the death of a loved one. She then had the strength to quote Dr. Seuss; "Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened."

Reality check taken, grumpiness ebbed, lesson learnt -

Life isn't always great. When it occurs enjoy the brief beauty for what it was and look forward to the next chance of greatness.
