Girls just wanna have fun!

Took a day off work to drive down (with Mr A) to collect my Mum.

We did a few quick jobs round the house for her, then we went out for a meal at Christchurch (absolutely delicious) before heading back home...

In the evening Mr A went swimming with his father, sister, brother-in-law and nephew - but I find that pool way, way, WAY too cold for me. Far too cold to peel off my thermals, that's for sure!

So I took the opportunity to take my Mum (Joyce) over to visit her old neighbour and best friend (Joyce too) in the road she used to live in (and where I was born), before she moved to the south coast in 1996. I grabbed this shot quickly just before we left and it captures them perfectly. So glad we went - it was a great evening. And those spur of the moment visits are great, aren't they?
