Silver Superstars

Speedy had a big competition today he has been working towards it for months and all his hard work paid off.

With Personal Bests in Hurdles, Long Jump, Shot Putt, and 800m he had a very good event. 12 points behind the leader going in to the last event 800 meters so Speedy was going to have to live up to his name to have a sniff at the gold - he gave it his very best shot with - as his coach said "one of the gutsiest of runs you are likely to see" taking 4 seconds off his PB won the race but not by enough : (

So it was silver today for an 11 in an u14 championship we are all very proud of him.
