Housesteads Roman Fort

Lovely, sunny, crisp, cold day out. Drove to Corbridge, bit wander around then cuppa & warm cheese scone with butter. Then drove to the old military road (B6318) & a pint & a coke in the Milecastle Inn.
The B6318 runs alongside Hadrian's Wall for much of its length, and some parts of the road are built on the foundations of the wall. Even though it was really cold, the sun brought out lots of walkers.
