C is for ... Cardiff

My last day in South Wales :-(

Another trip down memory lane today. Studied at University in Cardiff over 20 years ago now and haven't been back since. It has to be said that lots had changed in the intervening years but other things hadn't changed at all.

This is the dragon on top of the Bute building, home to the Welsh School of Architecture which is where I studied. At that time it was part of UWIST - the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology. Can you see the cog in the dragon's claws?

So it's off back home tomorrow. It has really been a brilliant week despite the coughs and colds and I will be VERY sad to leave. Lots of lovely experiences to look back on and treasure.
