Drafty aboot the shanks....
.....a nice day in the centre of enlightenment, with no-one but my conscience to drag me from my slumbers, I slept late. I short deliberation over house tidying versus going for a nice long cycle and I was on m'bike. Hardly a breath of wind until I reached the Forth Road Bridge and then it started blowing strongly down the river, whistling through the superstructure. There's a surprising rake on the bridge and I found the journey out and back from Fife quite heavy going.
Back in Embra, I stopped at Stockbridge market for a gander but saved by cash for a Flat White and a chat with friends I'd bumped into.
An afternoon of studying and occasional bouts of guilt driven tidying, but no-one is overdoing it I can assure you.
Stig and Nancy are due back from the north in an hour or so, haven't seem them since Tuesday afternoon, so I'm looking forward to their arrival....oh, they'll have the cat too.
